Departing from Tel Aviv’s Dov Airport or Herzliya Airfield, you will fly over Jerusalem and enjoy a lateral view of the Old City. This is a unique privilege given that this area is normally a restricted no fly zone. Continue over the Judean Desert via the Qumran Caves (where the dead sea scrolls were discovered) and Ein Gedi, a lush desert oasis and nature reserve. Land for a break at the historic site of Masada, above the dead sea. After visiting this fascinating ancient fortress and enjoying lunch (optional), you will fly back towards Tel Aviv. You will see striking aerial views of Tel Aviv and the glistening Mediterranean. Landing will be at original departure point.
