Edit Headquarters of the Lubavitch Chassidim

Address
770 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY, United States of America, 11213
Starting Address:

One of the largest and better known branches of Hassidic Jews, the Lubavitch was founded in a town of the same name in the late 1800s. An emigrant to New York in 1940, the order’s leader Yosef Schneerson laid the roots of the organization in America and his son-in-law Menachem Mendel Schneerson, known to the world as the Lubavitcher Rebbe, developed the worldwide organization of learning and piety that appears in every corner of the world. Replicas of this Tudor Revival home in Crown Heights appear wherever the Lubavitcher Chassidim are established, from Australia to Israel.
